Idea Cellular has unveiled a new SIM card-based fleet tracking service in collaboration with MapmyIndia, Delhi-based maps and tracking services provider. This solution is currently in the pilot stage and is being rolled out to a select set of clients. With the new fleet tracking service, enterprise clients will be able to track the position of their fleet on MaymyIndia’s maps. The company’s tracking solution works without Internet and even when the SIM is installed on a low-cost feature phone.
